Are Cur's known to kill small animals?

Have a Cur/Lab mix, but she looks all cur.
She is a little over 4 months old.
Asked on the outdoor board but it seems dead, so I will ask here.
I just found two dead snakes in about a 10 minute span.
One was floating in my washing machine, my assumption is that she did it, since I was washing her towels.
While I was throwing that one over a gate I found another one in pieces in the back yard.
Is this normal or is more likely the work of a cat?

Cur's are popular dogs here in Louisiana so I figured people would be in the know on this board.

I had a cur and he loved to kill stuff. He really liked to kill snakes, but one day a 6 foot rattlesnake fought him to a draw. He got the snake but snake also got him. 
Cats (the ones that haven't been turned into useless pieces of fur) also love to kill snakes so who knows.

I had a cur-lab mix puppy. She started out docile but got more aggressive as she aged. She crushed 2 of our kittens and snapped at the wife.

Just curious. I am from MS and have never heard of a cur dog. Is it a breed? I looked up cur dog and it says it's a type of dog not a breed. It means mongrel.

best and naturally smartest dog I ever had was a cur/chow mix...what a dog.

Well it was raining and I was trying to finish up the laundry while also fixing my truck running board so I was just in a frick it type of mood.
It was plenty dead, so I just grabbed in and slung in my neighbor's yard since I am plenty sure that bastard lets his dog shite in my front yard.

We have a cur at the country house and it kills all types of shite. Mostly armadillos, coons, or opossums but snakes wouldn't be out of the question. She will also dig a tunnel to China if you let her.

It's your cur! I have a cur mix and she is a stone cold killer - snakes, armadillos, possum, coons. She will also tree anything and stay with it for hours.

At 4 months, she's probably just playing around now. She's working through her instincts. Does she have an older dog teaching her?
