Nearly everyone carries the herpes simplex 1 virus. It just remains dormant but can pop up out of the blue at anytime. So all you that love making jokes about the herp just remember it could pop up on your lip tommorow.

yes you can pass herpes kissing. there are two kinds.
simplex I and II.
He passes it to the wife, he is toast, of course.
and the sad part is that some people develop cancer in response to the herpes virus. Its not always "only" cold sores.
that cancer research was done in the 1970's.
Now and then you will meet someone who has herpes and they can bore/scare you with all the blah blah about simplex II, which for most people is far worse of the two.

I guess its just the thought of having to explain yourself. Even though there is no reason to have to... I just don't get how dudes or chicks would screw around on their spouse/SO.Just the thought of having my wife find out that I cheated gives me the creeps... She would not want to split up though.
