Not worth the extra 300 or so bucks compared to similar red wings IMO

Just one problem. Red Wings and Wolverines don't go wider than D. I'm an E. I've played with different lengths, no dice. It's getting harder to find E's or EEE's.

Yup.

There are cobblers who can refurb the Red Wings. Bedos Leatherworks in Falls Church, VA is VERY good. Shipping is about $15 at USPS.

May not be the style you're looking for exactly but the Iron Rangers come in D and EE.
I wear an E in AE dress shoes but my IRs are D width and are plenty wide.

They look like shoes that women wore in the Victorian era.

Do they come with a Bernie Sanders T-shirt. Be a man and get some Luchessi Boots.

Quality boot for sure. I’ve got them in brown and snuff suede, but I like the plain toe better than the Indy.

Regardless of Alden specifically, a proper 300+ dollar boot is worth it.

Lasts many years.

Looks better with age.

A tough things for guys is picking the exact right boot because subtle things can make for a bad match depending on a persons traits.

Big fan of buying very quality goods, the kinds of things that get better with some time.

Alden Indy boots are what Indiana Jones wore in all his movie - pretty much as man as you can get right there.

Trivia: He was supposed to wear Red Wings, likely Iron Rangers, but Harrison Ford insisted on Alden's

Since it's a boot thread.

Bludstone 550 boot in rustic brown.

OG level stuff here.

Australian made since like 1870.

Most comfortable boots I own.

Works in all situations.

Alan:
It's where I keep all my things. Get a lot of compliments on this. Plus it's not a man purse. It's called a satchel. Indiana Jones wears one.

Phil:
So does Joy Behar.
