not one of my faves

Kinda boring and a little predictable??? And not their best
It's one of the best "Hitchcock movies" Hitchcock never made -- along w/State Secret w/Douglas Fairbanks Jr (1950) and Blindfold w/Rock Hudson (1965)

Hollywood has been over since the years of Dean Martin and Frank Sinatra.
Well Dean Martin and Frank Sinatra weren’t exactly A list actors themselves.
Sinatra was a superstar, a far bigger name than most people considered to be "A list" today

And Dino wasn't far behind

I would go into a Covid infested theater to see Rock Hudson on the big screen - I don’t care he’s gay

He could’ve done better than Jim Nabors, but Rock probably wanted to be the prettier boy.

He could’ve had - let’s see - Montgomery Clift (Tom Cruise should play him in a biopic but no one would care), Raymond Burr, Randolph Scott - or even Cary Grant!!! Lol

Hollywood pushes cancer.

We'd be better off if it shutdown tomorrow.

Don't know what list he is, but I recently went down the IMDB list and made a point to watch most of the movies Robert Patterson has been in post-twighlight. Good gosh is that guy quietly putting together a heck of a resume of riveting roles

It started with randomly catching The Rover (w/ Guy Pearce)

I have a friend who dabbled in acting (and is a big theater nerd) and she says the exact same thing

She’s not an expert or claims to be - but I value her opinion when it comes to movies/actors, etc.

Leo is a superstar and a fine actor to boot. This notion that there are no longer superstars with charisma is horseshite. And you might not like Cruise (he is a weirdo) but he does not involve himself with bad movies. I like A Few Good Men and War of the Worlds as two of his better performances. He is (or was), in the oldest sense of the word, a "Movie Star."

The Cohen brothers put together No Country for Old men only about a decade ago. There Will Be Blood with Daniel Day Lewis is as fine a picture as has ever been made. Inglorious Basterds is a modern classic. These are all movies of this century, not the past.

Movie delivery is changing, only accelerated by the covid shutdown. Movies are probably done as we know it, but we don't have to be resigned to a bunch-of-cgi-shite-that-happens-against-a-green-screen-with-no-weight-or-consequence (like with Marvel).

If I was a talent agent with a young client who I thought had long term potential, I'd do my best to keep them out of teen heartthrob roles. Once you're
typecast, the jump to serious mature roles is a big hurdle and a lot don't make it.
