Not to mention when they close Old Perkins traffic will be a cluster on that side of the parish

No parish can afford a lawsuit if something happened to a child due to their decision to have school in bad weather. so it is better to go with caution since you have hurricane days that you didn't use this year.

Some people are too busy posting their St. Paddy's Day Pre-blackout pics on FB to realize we had a flood event the likes of which the area hasn't seen in almost 35 years. I.E.-longer than most of the Affliction set's been alive.
But there are 5,000 people in Louisiana-from Bossier to Tangi-whose homes are damaged with flood waters just as the heat and humidity is coming back to our neck of the woods.
Gonna be an emotional and financial hardship for a lot of people in more ways than one. But by all means, cancel school and force them to have to actually give their little angels their adderall to zone them out while they have to watch them at home tomorrow instead of stealing the XR from them so they can "focus at work," and they have to pout and whine.
