What does that say for the citizens in her district that elected her?
We have a Councilwoman right now here in Louisville that is only in her seat because her "fellow" Councilpeople voted a straight up color block to keep her in office despite agreeing that she was found guilty of misconduct during her ethics trial. And she won her re-election.
Pretty damn ridiculous

The way Shanklin used city grant money was at the center of the ethics case against her She was accused of using friends and relatives to steer council funds to neighborhood groups she controlled.

While a majority of the council jury found Shanklin was guilty of misconduct -- there were not enough votes to remove her from office.

Throughout the proceedings, prosecutor David Tachau relied on bank statements, canceled checks and witness statements to try to show that Shanklin used family members and friends as a means to steer tens of thousands of dollars in council funds to two neighborhood groups she controlled.
Tachau contends she used some of those funds to pay her grandson's girlfriend $600 -- money which Tachau argues she can't prove was ever paid back.
He also contends she created and hand-picked upholstery instructor Linda Haywood to teach an upholstery class Shanklin and her family members took part in. The program, which was funded through Metro Corrections, was meant to teach ex-convicts a skill.
On the stand Tuesday, Shanklin repeatedly admitted to "making mistakes" but said she "worked hard for her community."

However, it's really sad that elected leaders of today are voted into office simply based upon the color of their skin and not the "contents" of what is within their head.
You just have to be aware of what to do to appeal to the people within the district you are running in. Uneducated lower class people have a different view of life than someone who is upper middle class.

So is it the fault of the middle and upper class? Because this class of citizens decided to do better for themselves?
We will always have a bottom 25 %. Society. Professional work place. Sporting events. You name it. But it appears as if this bottom 25 % have no drive, determination, decision making processes or necessary skill sets to help improve their position.

Exactly. I legitimately felt bad for one of the Councilmen that was 100% behind shite-canning her arse because he had to deal with her shenanigans over a neighborhood that they split. And because it was a predominantly white neighborhood, she routinely ignored her "part" of it and failed to secure basic funding such as a minor road repairs. He was absolutely livid.

As much as I like Jeff Ruby's, I'm a Del Friscos girl myself.

The best steak I have ever eaten was at Del Frisco's in Houston (near the Galleria).

I didn't recognize you at first. Kept looking for the ASU logo by your name and that hot girl's picture.
She will be back after Trump is elected and the members of our LE once again get the respect they deserve.
