Take a look at his pic. My guess is the bottom of the flower box is the air intake.

Yep. I made a very shallow flower box and the part where the ac juts out is completely open on top and bottom.

Ventilation is on the bottom now?

IF the picture is real the compressor will be burnt up soon.

I think this started with the bedfans around 2010 or 2011.

Since you don't seem to comprehend the concept, I'll draw you a diagram.

Enjoy your derp moment.

Explain your theory to someone who isn't in the commercial AC field.

I'm curious as to what you find wrong with it.

Assuming all AC vents have some sort of open space, are you saying there's just not enough open space between the vents and wood?

You people don't have your central air zoned so you can kick the bedrooms down lower at night without having to cool down the whole house? Thought we had ballers around here

It vents from the side and has plenty of ventilation space on either side. It's been running for over two months now without any problems and it won't have any.
The only difference between my unit and any other is that there is an open air box around it.

Yes, I like the design and style but it's too enclosed to last.

Would someone also place a PC/PS4/Xbox in such a small area?
It happens, and guess what happens when they do...

So a bedjet is just a fan that blows under your bed?

That's the basic concept, but it's a bit more sophisticated.

You can set temperature ranges from 67 to 104, and it automatically adjusts during the night based on your sleep pattern, i.e. colder in deep sleep then warms up when it's time to wakeup.
