Anyone Read the new book about Scott Rogers?

This story fascinates me. I remember the murder suicide story a few months back and remember that he was about to be busted for immigration and adoption fraud. I didn't realize he was also the leader of a cult and huge gambling addict.
Apparently he also was being investigated as part of an international pedophile ring and he took frequent trips to Malaysia.
The person who wrote this book was also the one responsible for breaking this story to the Louisiana authorities. Just wow.

As he resurfaced in Baton Rouge, Gray said he sought to befriend people in high places and he did.
In her book, Gray said Rogers aligning himself with upper crust allies in Louisiana followed the same script he used in England.
Despite accusations of abuse and running a cult, Gray said, "Rogers still had 17 character witnesses at his trial, ministers, law enforcement, civic leaders, teachers and even the parents of some students."
Gray became involved in the search for the truth about Rogers when an ex-student of his from England, a student he allegedly abused, contacted
her. After an internet search turned up a story that contained the names of Rogers and Gray, the ex-student Ethan emailed her and that led to the case being cracked wide open here in Louisiana.
Gray talked at length to Ethan, gathered and verified information and delivered it to a U.S. Attorney with the jaw-dropping allegations. She heard his and others accounts of being locked in a room and raped, of having their bones broken.

That show was awful and you should feel terrible for supporting that pedophile and child rapist

Do you happen to have any vcr tapes of the episodes? I ask, because I lost the copy of my appearance on his show when my tivo died.
That was one seriously fricked up dude. How any parent would trust him with their child is beyond me. Not being able to read Scott Rogers vibe is essentially being socially illiterate.

I always wondered why no one asked questions into why a British guy lived in Baton Rouge.
The Londoner guy is next.

I still don't get how he was let into the country with several kids that weren't his own.

I was a longtime BR resident and had moved away. When I moved back years later, Rogers was firmly entrenched in that BR television- Cheerleader-self-promoter-oddly-enthusiastic-slightly-creepy-definitly-gay-probably-married-to-his-daughter's-husband role. I thought it was quite odd and semi-disturbing what an obvious fraud he was. But I also enjoyed his daughter's breasts immensely, so I left the channel on.

That's a thick arse book. Please read it and provide Cliff's Notes.

He was weird and didn't want to hangout with him around BR so it didn't matter to me. Besides, if you're in the loop and hip you don't need a show to tell you about upcoming BR social events.

Yes but you could attend his seminar and get a chance to give your "elevator speech"

I'm sure PC combined with Euro-love had a lot to do with it.
