Bayou Billiards does $10 ribeye with baked beans and toast on Tuesday night. They are the most popular pool hall in the area bc they have the best tables and players.

I played apa in Baton Rouge in 2008, still play but in Houston now. I'm a 6 in 8 ball and a 7 in 9. I rarely win as a 7 though. I also play in a masters league. Been to Vegas for masters and 9 ball.

I used to play in the Lake Charles pool league a couple of nights a week. Men's League and Mixed league. REALLY hated all the trashy bars and cigarette smell. Once I had kids I gave it up because of the smell.
ETA: I still have a pool table in our game room and I like to play from time to time when I can get my son to remove all the damn legos that have a permanent residence up there.

If it was the late 90's, we may have crossed paths. I played a lot a pool at the student union (97-01). I was okay at it; got better with practice. Haven't played much since then so I would be very rusty at it.
