Anyone know if Hwy 90 between Lafayette and New Orleans is closed?

Have family trying to get from Houston to New orleans for a funeral in the morning and coming through BR doesn't look like a good option. Curious if Hwy 90 is any better.

Check the weather thread. There is a link to road closures on page 21 or 22

Interstate in BR should be fine. Is it not?

I would have them stay on I-10. I have a feeling 90 is gonna have more issues than I-10.

It's open and so is I-10 through BR. I've been all over just pay attention and drive slow. Whoever is being buried isn't in a rush.

Only place it floods on 90 between those points is right before Des Allemands and that's wide open.

How about this

Nope, traffic is backed up due to an accident north of Bush. Find another route.
