So it's basically an elevated tent?
You have difficulty seeing the elevated tent bud? Why be difficult and dense? Yes, it's quite obvious there is an elevated tent. Reasons have been stated by previous posters why some folks prefer a RTT.

You know you can just go camping without having to haul around some weird trailer, right?
Thank you captain obvious. I've done that for many years. Get back to me when you would like to hit some trails in your Accord and ground tent.

Anywhere my truck can go the trailer can go too. Along with that I can carry 10% a cord of wood, 30 gallons of fresh water, 10 gallons of fuel, propane, a gallon of diesel, supplemental battery to run lights, diesel heater, water pump, water heater, etc.

Everything stays organized, clean and dry. It brings joy to myself and my family and that's all that matters.

Act like I'm the only one who called it out. You seem butthurt that everyone isn't marvelling at your little trailer. Just about all spots I've ever camped at are only accessible by trails or very sketchy roads in the first place. I have most of that stuff too, it just gets thrown in the back of the truck (not my Accord) and covered with a tarp. But whatever.

What?

If you bothered to read the thread their questions were answered. You are free to exit the thread unless you would prefer to take another jab or two.

ETA: IAmNERD, the purpose of the thread was to gather feedback on if any else here shared the same interests. I remember you from the Commander Data thread mentioning your around the Gadsden area. If so, then maybe we could go out and camp one weekend.

I would love to. I've got two elementary school aged kids that I've asked to go with me before and they acted like it was just ridiculous I would make them leave their devices for a weekend. So needless to say, it's been a few years since I've got to break out the gear and sleep in the woods.

This is the one, it’s absolutely riveting

Don't suppose you have a link to the pdf they talk about in that thread, the pictures have long since died in the original one. As interesting as it sounds, loses a lot of appeal without those.

For whatever reason I still have pictures, so I downloaded the whole forum thread and converted to PDF. It's like 85 megs, so will have to go thru google drive.

That's one good thing about not having kids. I just load up the backpack, put in my dispersed camping permit, and head out whenever I want. Going next Wednesday for an overnighter at my little spot I scouted out in Sumter National Forest here in SC.

And since it's cold now, no need to take a tent for the bugs. Just a tarp lean-to and I'm good to go.

You could just put everything in the back of your truck you know.
