I have been waking up and seeing a huge spider coming at me the last few nights. It's crazy because this morning I knew it was not real but it wasn't going away. Eventually it disappears but it is so real.

I even saw a girl in my closet one time completely naked, i think that was the coolest one ever, but usually it is just spiders i see

They are called dreams...or nightmares.

Oh. Well then surely it must be an actual evil giant spider in your room and not you dreaming you are waking up.

Its called sleep paralysis. Being sleep deprived causes this. Get some rest, bud.

It's not like LSD. It is like i'm seeing a freaking spider that is the size of my fist. eventually it just disappears. I see it just vanish right before my eyes

I've had the exact same one except the girl was my wife and she was getting drilled by some black guy. It seemed real as shite but she assured me that it's a pretty common phenomenon. Crazy thing is I wasn't even sleeping before it happened

LINK

"What makes hypnogogic and hypnopompic hallucinations different from dreams is that they tend to lack a story. Moreover the hallucinations may vary. People could experience a physical feeling, a smell, a sound, or quite frequently an image or sight."

Exactly what happens. Wish you guys could experience it, because none of you guys understand.

As it appears you know the difference between this vision and the effects of LSD, I can only assume that your history of LSD use has resulted in a breakdown between your perceptions of the real and imagined worlds. The visions will likely begin to progress further into your waking consciousness until you become schizophrenic. Sorry.

Or I could be talking out of my arse, both seem plausible.

Back in the day I would literally search the room looking for it, but I know its not real but when you actually see something it is hard to tell yourself that it is not real.

I had one, once back in undergrad, decades ago. The head was on the floor as I was getting out of bed and as I saw I was about to step on it, I freaked and fell into a 3ft high pile of laundry. It was gone when I looked back at the ground.

I have partaken in the drug but I had these happen way before I ever did the drug.

and all lsd does is tune down your thalamus which is like a pop up blocker for your brain to control logical thinking.
