Anyone here have cough syncope?

Have had multiple episodes over the past year and am really freaking out about it. It started when I was smoking last year. I would hit a joint and start coughing and my face would start tingling and my vision would get blurry and I felt like I was about to pass out. I would flex my legs out of instinct to maintain consciousness.
Fast forward to now and Im under the weather with a head cold and cant stop coughing and Im having syncope episodes daily. Just had one a few minutes ago and I felt chest heavy, shortness of breath and heart rate jacked over 100.
Going to schedule an appointment tomorrow with a heart specialist and just wanted to ping the board for others that deal with this or any resident doctors that know what tests i need to have run on me to determine the severity

I deal with this as well, and I just happen to have a cold including a cough. I told my cardiologist about it when I saw him last week. He did not seem too concerned about it.
It seems kind of counterintuitive, but my blood pressure seem to drop when I get a coughing fit. He offered to put me on a 24hr cardiac monitor for 21 days….i declined!

I pass out when I laugh too hard. I forget the first time it happened, but I’ve probably fainted a dozen or so times. I’ve had the tests done on my heart and everything came back normal.

I had a bad cough around the first of the year and that happened a few times.

Happens occasionally to me during a coughing spree. Don't know what the problem is, I just write it up to old age
