616,000 square foot gaming floor, one of the largest in the world. 7,400 slot machines, 120 table games, horse track, off-track betting. Eight different casino areas themed like Paris, Beijing, Rome, Madrid, London, Vienna, Cairo and New York City. 4.3 out of 5 on Google with 6,990 reviews. 9 hour drive from Baton Rouge. How have I not heard of this place?

Big place for sure. Sometimes have some good concerts as well. Weezer was fantastic.

It's in Oklahoma. Not too much going on up there.
Also, one of my favorite Rodney Carrington bits, "We may have stole their land, but them Indians are getting the value back $5 at a time."

Yeah, it's fine. You have to buy your own booze, which fricking blows.

I'm a gambling nut, worth the 9 hour drive?

Yea it and Choctaw are the closest to Dallas. They’re like Vegas style places. True resorts.

I mean they literally put in on the border so it would be as close as possible to DFW.
If you’ve never been, it’s a site to see.

Depends on what you like to play. I only play poker when I go, and their room is very active and has solid game selection. As far as table games, there doesn't seem to be a lot of action going on. It is slot machine heaven.
Their comp system is pretty aggressive. I started receiving free rooms after the first time I went, even after only playing poker. I only live 45 minutes away, so they go unused.

Check out their music schedule and schedule your visit around it if you want. They get a ton of big shows there.

Ive heard of it, but never been.
This is just a random statement, but I wish sports gambling was legal in more states.

Been to both WinStar and Choctaw. Problem I have with all Oklahoma casinos are roulette and craps. They do not play those games with a marble and dice respectively. The roulette wheel is a ticker type of wheel and where it stops they pull out a card and that is the number on the spin. With craps they use cards as the roll of the dice, players do not touch the cards and everything is done with the staff. Card games are normal, i.e. Blackjack, poker, let it ride, etc.

Used to have to work up that way. It's like a giant city just pops up in the middle of fricking nowhere

I've been told by friends here in Dallas who gamble that the laws favor the house at native american casinos more so than at other casinos. Not sure if this is true but they don't go to oklahoma to play but do go to Bossier.
