Yes and it was easily one of the hardest things I've had to do but there's no way you can say no.

Yes ...first sorry for your loss.

I've done it for both of my grandmothers. Just speak from the heart, tell stories about the person that makes you remember them in a good light....stories everyone knows and stories only the family would know. Have it written in bullet points so you can easily find your way back if you get lost from getting emotional. Good luck. God bless.

I did my grandfathers. I got a wonderful response from it, hard to be too sad about him dying at 98. 400+ people at the funeral. Amazing man, easy to say something nice about.

I talked about how he got me to love lettuce, and seduce woman.
