I’m selling my truck and have a buyer willing to pay my asking price ($7000).

I got an offer of $4000 for trade in at the dealership.
For fun, I checked with Carvana and Carmax. They offered $3800 and $3500.
GMTV says they will beat any offer from any company.
We gonna take bets on what they offer me?

I say $4200.

BTW, it’s a 2005 Dodge Ram 1500 v8 Hemi 4 door, never been wrecked, no major repair work, etc.

KBB values it between $5500 and $8000 on private market

If they don't come back with you want then email them back and ask for more. I've done this. Selling with them was the easiest thing I've ever done. No matter what they come back with I would ask for more. It's worth a shot.

They are legitimate - very easy to deal with.

All I know is it’s so easy you can do it in your underwear

Yes it was easy to get what I wanted for my old truck. Gave them a price and held firm.

A couple days later they called and accepted my price.

Came back already.

They offered $4000.

I told them the motor is worth more than that.

Yes, I have, just sitting at work bored. Plus, my new truck won’t be in until next week. Had to special order the truck nutz

I sold my 2017 Audi S7 to them. They did an in and out at Brian Harris BMW and smoked Audi’s offer.

Saved 5k on the taxes by doing the in and out so it was basically like selling it private seller without the hassle.

Your buyer isnt a company

They will give you 3801 dollars to match their gaurantee

And sell the car for the 7000

Did I sum it up

I don’t understand the question. You have a guy willing to pay your asking price and you want to see if give me the vin will beat it? No way they pay more than a private buyer

Yeah I almost sold to them but dealer would match so was easier to trade in.

Will definitely try them again next time I am selling

So someone will give you 7000

And your top dollar to them was 6500

None of this makes sense
