Anyone here ever been selected for Grand Jury duty?

I did my turn for 3 months...

We heard 1020 cases.

i only did 8 days, 250 cases

Our schedule was 8-12 Monday, Tuesday and Thursday.

I'm glad i worked for a large corporation (UnitedHealth) that had a system in place for it.

I got called up once but weaseled out of it. I told them I couldn't do it because I was supposed to be a keynote speaker for the National Klu Klux Klan Jamboree. Never got called again for any jury duty.

A month after graduating High Scchool I did it for a whole month. 8-5pm M-F.

It was easy. Everyone is wearing their hood so you can't really see them staring at you.

Every Friday for 18 months, don't remember how many cases but it was a lot.

My wife was selected for grand jury a few years back. Seems like she only had to go like 3 or 4 days but was subject to have to go back for a period of a a few months.

I got a Grand Jury notice when I was in college. I got out of it due to school.
