Know several people that did it, both males and females. As others have said, the pay sucks as it essentially pays for your room & board. Will give you an in for any Disney jobs and looks good on a resume.
The people I know have been greeters, gift shop employees, life guards, and work at the restaurants. Some have stayed and are managers, engineers, and one works in the corporate office (don't know what she's doing).

This. Guy I dated had tons of pics of him surrounded by girls.
He loved the program..must've been for the women because standing in the heat at a cart selling coke and bottled water sounds like a horrible way to make minimum wage.
Also, you have to pay rent to Disney so you don't really make any money.
It really should not be called an "internship" because that makes it sound like much more than it is.
When he was trying to impress my family by telling them all about his big Disney internship, I was cracking up inside.
You sold food from a cart.
With that said, he did say that the people were amazing, you can spend all your free time in the parks, and you learn a lot about Disney.

Only time I recall hearing about this program is when I was in high school we were shown a video about a girl who worked at Disney in the program and died of an ecstasy overdose.

I'll give him +1 for the effort.

I did it a few years back when I graduated. I would recommend it to anyone. It is basically like freshman year all over again except no classes to worry about. You will party almost everyday and meet/bang women from around the world. If you are a semi decent looking guy you can basically pick a new girl every other night if you want.

If you want to bang a girl in a Cinderella outfit, go for it.

I know a girl who did it. She actually said she knew some straight guys that left being gay. Apparently they are very skilled in testing your sexual boundaries there.
I am being truthful, so just be careful.

A high school friend of mine did it several years ago. Said the parties were mental.
His best story was the time he was taking a smoke break behind the scenes, Mickey Mouse walked back, took off his head, and there was an Hispanic woman underneath who asked him for a cigarette.

I remember these recruiter in every class when I was an upperclassmen. Then had a speech class with someone who did it and she did EVERY speech on Disney. She was fricking obsessed. I'm not sure what kind of brain washing program they have over there
On the other hand there was a Zappos (online shoe company) that has a internship that was based in Las Vegas that sounded like a WAY better time and better opportunity. Also way harder to get

Yikes If that's his "best" story

My ex g/f from two years of high school/first year at LSU went her 2nd semester at LSU. I know they get paid shite and she got railed quite a few times by different dudes during the program. She ended up dropping out of LSU and trying to work for Disney full time. She also now has 3 kids by 3 different dudes. Whew, I dodged a bullet.
So it sounds like as a single straight dude you can clean up at this program. That is all I got.

This was pretty much what my sister's experience was like. Her and her friends spent A LOT of time in the parks while they were off. They were very strict in the Disney apartments though and the work rules were also VERY strict. She still keeps up with her friends from all over the country that she met there though.

Are you serious? I suggest you stay in college until you have a better plan.

From the people I know who did it, one hated it and the other tolerated it. It is a complete farce that Disney does to get next to free labor.

I've never any of these Disney chicks that are super hot. They're usually 6s at best
And if your in college, you should'nt have to move states to get laid. It's not hard
