What's the new laws? I guess with triplets, which are typically smaller in size, it's possible to need to do that. Otherwise, she will give up on that real quick.

I have 3 in car seats. Well the 5 year old is in booster and the 2 and 1 year olds are in car seats. I have a Ford Expedition. Fit them all in while hauling a bunch of shite from
IKEA this weekend. It’s worked well. 2 necessities I’d recommend are leather and auto folding 3rd row.
