My wife's younger brother has the gay. He told her before we were married and then told his parents when he was 22 to deflect the fact he was flunking out of college. My in-laws are ok with it now but initially his mom kept saying that it was just "a phase".
One time after she said that to me I told her that there is no "hey, maybe I like penis and want to try it out" phase.

Nah. 6 figure earner. Takes a few vacations a year. Has a better job than you. Beautiful home that's paid for. Nice car. He lives the life.

For the OT parents of daughters: was the softball equipment not enough of a sign? No sense in waiting for her to come out.

To take it in reverse order, non-binary refers to their gender identity, specifically that they don’t really have one. They don’t fit within the male/female binary. Non-binaries usually look and act androgynous.
Pan-sexual is the largest sexual umbrella. Not only are they attracted to both sexes, but they are attracted to all genders. For example, a bisexual might not be attracted to a gender non-binary, a transgender, etc. Pans are.

i AM the sibling. No problems at all.
In fact, I’ve never had a problem. I guess I’m very lucky to have a loving family.
I have friends whose families have not handled it so graciously. Hard thing for folks to go through.
