Anyone have idiot “friends” on FB freaking out about 5g?

Wow, it really doesn’t get any dumber than this shite 
The guy who shared this then went on to say “this 5g stuff is serious man y’all don’t understand.”
Then in the comments, a girl comes along and actually comments about how she has “black tourmaline crystals” and how she just “ordered a safe sleeve phone case just because it can’t hurt to reduce exposure.”
Holy fricking shite. These people are in their early 20’s mind you. Facebook is truly a gathering place for all mouth breathers and retards.

How must faster is 5G than 4G?
Who will bring it to the market first?
If sprint gets it will their service still fall short compared to other carriers?

Are you sure it doesnt cause all those things? I'm not saying it does but you would look pretty foolish if your whole family got sick the minute you got 5g

There are different versions of 5G
Technically speaking, T-Mobile already has it rolled out and is first but they've rolled out low-band 5G, which isn't a huge improvement. It allows you to get top-end 4G bandwidth at longer distances and lesser signal, and doesn't get interfered with badly by objects.
AT&T, Verizon, etc. Are looking to roll out Millimeter Wave 5g, which is very high frequency and you basically need line-of-sight to have a good signal. In lab testing they get up to 1Gbps throughput. That said, in it's current state it's still highly flawed. 5G phone batteries get eaten up, and obstructions greatly interfere with service. It is the true future of cellular service buy true widespread implementation is a long way off.

5g can be bad for you if you are standing right on top of the transmitter. If it is up on a pole then you should be ok.

The Verizon guy tried to get me to buy a 5g Note 10. I was like... you have 1 5g antenna in Atlanta and it's at the dome. Right? And he looked surprised and said yeah and you can only use it during the games. LOL it's a HUGE marketing scam but not surprised the Luddites have started resistance against it.
