My primary care doctor advised me to get evaluated for a CPAP after I mentioned some memory issues. I’ve been using it almost a year now, and the memory slippage seems to have stopped. My grandfather died of Alzheimer’s, and he snored terribly for years. Now I wonder if the snoring was a contributing factor.

I used to obsess over this stuff. Now I'm a little more fatalistic. I try to take care of myself, but I also recognize there's more I don't control than do control. If my number comes up so be it. I have an exit strategy in place

Same here, discussed with the NP at cardio I see last month. Medical technology can keep you alive way past your useful sell by date with $$$$.

Creatine, at least 10g.
MCT oil daily, or exogenous ketones.
Resistance training, emphasis on legs.

Good way to lose your other friends.

Go to doc asap, dementia can be significantly slowed, but losses are not recoverable. Get appropriate meds, probable doxepin and meman. then you can add other recommendations people suggest.

-Walk (especially for 10 minutes after a meal)
-Get morning sunlight
-7-8 hours of sleep
-Work your brain (Ex. If you’re right-handed, write a little bit each day with your left hand); racket sports also great for this (ping pong, pickle ball, etc)
-Cut out processed foods and sugars
-Eat healthy fats (avocados, walnuts, MCT oil thrown in a coffee)
-Talk to a trusted doctor (not a medicine overprescriber) about creatine, 1mg lithium orotate daily, Viagra too an interesting topic for brain health/blood flow
