How was it? All I saw is they stiffed CFX out of $200K.

Ah. I was confused. I had talked to someone with the production company and thought they meant the next one was tomorrow rather than next month.

My bad.

I'm assuming this - Composite Effects says Walking Dead Escape backed out of $200,000 mask deal

quote:

Baton Rouge company Composite Effects was left with masks in hand after the officials behind The Walking Dead Escape arena tour backed out of a deal worth more than $200,000, according to a press release representing Composite Effects, which is also known as CFX. The result is also that participants in The Walking Dead Escape -- set to launch its national arena tour in Baton Rouge today -- will not wear CFX masks.

Yeah. If I'm doing 200k in work I'm getting a written contract. Not a handshake.

I would like to know more details...maybe CFX didn't meet whatever was in the contract?

Yeah sounds like they stiffed themselves if no contract was written up and signed.

Sometimes email authorization from the right person is enough to start a job. Maybe that's what happened.

edit: I was down there with my son and assumed all the cars were there for world of wheels or something. I am stupid, yes.

Don't know. Looking for reviews. Didn't mean to hijack with the mask contract issue.

If my schedule was different I'd have liked to go.
