The apology never makes sense. Ever. Brees did the same stupid shite
The people coming after you always hated you and will always hate you simply for being a white successful non woke male. Period. They were just waiting for any moment to jump. No apology will ever make them like you. Plus, they are a small minority of actual real life people
But by apologizing and cowering to them you then lose the respect of actual normal people, who are the majority. Don’t apologize and wait like 5 days and it all blows over.

no normal people lost respect for him because of his apology. The people who are mad about the apology are the culture war obsessed morons the equivalent of the folks that got mad over the original Hogan outfit/statement
