Anyone ever try a dog treat before?

I've nibbled on a milkbone before just to see what they taste like. Tastes like compacted flour.
Anyone ever try a beggin strip?

I prefer a good Greenie with my coffee in the morning

If it's not good enough for me, it's not good enough for my dog

I'm sure they have no taste. Dogs don't care about taste, just smell and, to a much lesser extent, texture

Greenies are like crack cocaine to my dog.

Mmmm, milkbones... Except the green ones, those were gross.

Sure. I tried quite a few different ones.
There's a calorie dense food called A/D that we give to sick hospital patients that can't/won't eat a lot or are fed through a tube. It smells and tastes like Vienna sausages to me.

Beggin strips taste the same as milkbones but with a hint of bacon flavor. Awful. You should try a bully stick.
Don't unless you're Paige.

The poodle bites,
The poodle chews it,
come on, Frenchie.
Nothin' but the best for my dog.

There is a fellow around here who keeps Milkbones in his sports coat pocket. I had heard a rumor of same and the claim that he ate them.
Then I saw the nut pull one out at a funeral visitation and chow down in front of everyone. Rumor confirmed.

I can remember one poster on here who ate some...got a brain tumor and passed away pretty quickly after that, if I remember right...

Milkbones have little hairs in them.

Made me think of this.

I've tried one of those bacon strip dog treats. They make those things smell some damn good!
