Man, what are the odds of a horizontal bolt of lightning hitting those submerged explosives? Gotta be low.

There must be some sort of pipeline running under the water that exploded when the lighting struck it.

About 12 years ago the ex and I had all 3 of my kids on a paddleboat. We were in the middle of a lake well within 10 mins a storm appeared out of no where. There was lighting going off all around us. We were freaking out. Then BAM lighting stuck a tree about a 100 yards away as we were nearing shore. Our ears were crackling from the strike. My said what should we do, my reply PRAY. We made it to shore and I contributed greatly on the offering at church that Sunday.

That's not lightning. But, I have seen a lighting bolt strike a pier in lake pontchartrain and send a bolt of electricity down the pier thru the electrical cords feeding the pier lights. Wicked
