Anyone ever been to Chesapeake,VA?

I have to go there for a week and just wondering if anyone had any tips on restaurants, things to do, etc. TIA

Lived there when my dad was in the Navy. Only restaurant I remember is Chuck E. Cheese’s so I’m probably not much help.

My dad was stationed at Norfolk Naval Station when I was a teenager. Chesapeake is nearby. It's part of Hampton Roads. If you like seafood, there are plenty of good restaurants.
Traffic is bad for the whole area, but plenty of places to site see nearby. Colonial Williamsburg is like watching paint dry though.

As noted traffic is bad but Chesapeake isn’t a bad town.
