Got shot with one during training. Hit me in the thigh about 3” from dick. Hurt/stings way more than paint ball. It tore a small hole in my jeans. I’d rather be tased or pepper sprayed

Got hit by a bat (Winged mouse/rat kind of bat) in the chest, going up a reservoir doing about 50 mph one night. It hurt like the blazes. Wasn't all that nice for him either.
My table saw broke a board one time and threw a chunk of wood (baseball size) into my chest. Hurt a lot worse than the bat. Honestly sat down and thought, "I may die from this."

Can't find a picture but a reporter for I think Fox got hit in the stomach by one and had a baseball size red patch with literally no skin on it. He looked like he'd had surgery to remove the entire epidermis from that area

When I first read this, I was like " that's bs, no way a bat goes 50mph". So, I looked it up - they can do 100mph.
That's what I learned today.
