Life is basically the pursuit of two things, food and shelter. Everything else is a luxury.

Our ancestors lived their lives growing their own food and raising livestock to feed themselves and their families, and most built their own homes. There was no “leisure time” or vacation for them.

We have it fricking easy compared to them and most other people in the world.
