My girlfriend is like this. Often will talk, sit up, walk, do all kinds of things. It can be creepy. Can be annoying

My wife recites her patient diagnosis's and requests orders on a frequent basis. Doesn’t bother me I chuckle, nudge her, and then she rolls over

Imagine dating a girl who talks nearly as much in her sleep as she does awake.
We lasted only a couple months.

My grandfather used to do that. Also stuff like, "come out from behind so I can shoot you." IRL he was very mild mannered. But he had bloodthirsty dreams.

Where did he serve?

Sometimes impactful moments in lives can manifest themselves in the space between sleep and awake.

That's the strange thing. He was an instructor. He never left the continental United States.
