More details on booze needed before a formal offer can be issued.
Went to our equipment yard in Splendora to fill up my truck, get a generator, and get 2 Yetis full of ice. Got 1 case of white cans in the garage at home and will stop and get another on the way back to the Livable Forest. Already got a handle of Titos and Capt. Morgans from my last fishing trip at home but probably need some Diet Cokes. I got enough Makers to supply most of H-town since I only drink that during duck season. That's all I got.

I know in Nola, my apts in the CBD always had power longer and back on quicker than almost anyone else in the city.... something to think about.
I lived in the museum district during Ike and we had no power for damn near 10 days.
I think it was something specific to our apartments, though, because the complex that basically connected to ours (but was a different company all together) had power within 3 days. They let us charge phones and shower in their empty units.

Prayers sent to all the parents in the Houston area. Have some games and movies handy. Your kids won't return to school before Wednesday at the earliest. BOOK IT!
