Anyone else here with Crohns Disease?

Just wondering. I was diagnosed in 2015. Only had one small flare up back then and then went into remission shortly after. I've had my first real flare up this week and today has been hell. Any remedies to ease the pain? I feel like I'm being stabbed in my stomach, to the point that I can't even stand.

Started some today. Need it to kick in before I actually die. Well, I feel that way anyway.

Avoid long term steroids
If you start getting flare ups more regularly you need an immune modulating agent

If he changes his diet he will lose his #Gainz.
Bro, don't do it. Just power through it.

I've had Crohns for the last 8yrs. It can be a mother fker.
Try to get your gi doc to prescribe you a short dose of prednisone and some tramadol. It usually helps me knock out a small flare. Ensure drinks and instant mash potatoes are my gotos during a flare.
Just don't let the flare get outta hand.. had that happen to me, it ain't pretty..
Stay strong brother!

Probably just God's way of paying you back for tearing open and permanently disfiguring so many broads assholes with THE DONG!

This is going to sound crazy but hear me out. If you want to get rid of it you must quit ALl sugar, wheat, starches, and simple carbs. I suffered from a terrible autoimmune disease for years and spent many hours researching what could be done about it. Turns out sugar is toxic to our bodies over time and causes massive inflammation. If you want to learn more read any of Gary Taubes books. Good luck and God speed.

Adalimumab or another similar TNF-a blocking biologic will probably be your friend long term.

It is a major reason people are perscribed cannabis. There is a peptide called BPC-157 that you should research.
Probiotics are great especially if you can get them from food and not a pill.

I feel like I have it 4-5 hours after the Popeyes manager special (spicey) with red beans and two biscuits

I'd argue that an imbalance in his gut microbiome is largely responsible. His diet is what triggers symptoms.

got a family member with it. Diet definitely plays a part.
To the OP - stay on top of things and know that there is no one cure all that fixes everything. What works for one Person may not work for you. You may need to try multiple remedies, or combination of remedies - and even then what works or has worked for years is subject to change.
I do recommend trying the specific carbohydrate diet - dr suskind in Seattle (pediatric crohns) is having pretty good results with a study on it.
