No not that, but my wife told me today a lady and her children dropped off our stuff. She also was driving a SUV. The first time I've heard of this

Do you have any close neighbors? I’ve noticed they’re starting to drop off packages without checking aka (I’ve gotten my neighbors or they mine 3 times in the past two months).

Personally, I think Amazon sucks. But evidently when I start a thread about it the board loses their shite and thinks I am an idiot.

Earlier today I had a delivery driver get out their personal vehicle and hand me three packages, one of which was open with nothing inside. Guy said, “sorry that’s how I got it”

I dropped my wireless earbud in the toilet the other morning. Immediately ordered another pair on Amazon. They were delivered that same day.

Four times is absurd. I’ve never experienced that. However, sounds like you had ample time during then to shop in store for what you needed. You mishandled that situation, and blaming amazon as if you didn’t have any other option isn’t too bright on your part. The way I see it is you got double the order of what you wanted free of charge, but later than when you needed it to be in your possession, which could have been addressed by different means as mentioned previously.

Good time to end your post.

I did buy the stuff from a different vendor when Amazon proved incapable of fulfilling my order. I didn't send her off to camp without camping supplies. "Mishandled the situation"? What are you on about? My daughter arrived at camp with everything she needed and I essentially received a triple order for free. If that's "mishandling" it I would like to hear what I could have done better.

The topic is about shitty Amazon delivery, not the company as a whole.

UPS put the chit in my mailbox (I have a long driveway) and the mailman took it and left me a note. I had to go to the post office and pay to get my package.

You failed to mention the part where you made up for the error on Amazon’s part. That’s why I accused you of mishandling the situation. Apologies. I understand the topic. My opinion is that if you ever order something online that’s time sensitive, it better be from amazon because if it does not get there when promised, they more than compensate you for your “inconvenience”. Your example made it seem like you recognized an error on their part for a time sensitive situation, and didn’t act accordingly.

I guess if you assume I'm a total idiot and shitty parent you could make that assumption. Of course I bought it somewhere else.

I hate how theyve pushed acceptable delivery times well into the night time. Had a fricker in a Uhaul truck (F150) drive up our driveway with an Amazon package at 8:45pm just last week. Felt bad for the guy, said hes had quite a few homeowners greet him with a gun in hand.

I had hoped that wasn’t the case. I’m happy it worked out for you and your daughter. My opinion of amazon and their customer satisfaction hasn’t changed. You case would have irritated me as well.

Well at least they’re delivering.

I was told by the USPS supervisor today when I went to and find out exactly when they planned on delivering the Surepost package UPS had dropped off at the local post office last Tuesday that mail carriers aren’t allowed to deliver after sunset no more.

Seeing as I’m at the end of the route and they’ve never delivered my mail before 5:30 I guess it will be February sometime before I get mail again.

I'm still a regular customer. I'm just saying that offering a sub-par delivery service is still worthy of criticism, despite the company's refund policy.

The order was only $70 but I spent almost three unpleasant hours on the phone resolving it. How much is your time and aggravation worth? And this is just one of several incidents since they've rolled out their own delivery service.

Amazon has earned any criticism it's receiving.

My wife orders a ton of stuff from Amazon- everything received and on time...we have zero complaints! As long as we get the items, I don't care who and how they deliver it!

Soon as I get on the phone with them I grin knowing I’m about to get my order refunded. I understand you went through an ordeal for a measly amount of money, but I don’t know who else matches their responsiveness to making things right. Sometimes the delivery driver makes a mistake and delivers it to the neighbor’s house instead. shite happens. I’m not claiming to know what your time is worth, but they have yet to leave me dissatisfied when a mistake on their part has been made which has caused any inconvenience to me.

That's fair. They eventually told me that my neighborhood had disappeared from their system.

If Jeff Bezos could cheat on his wife for that long I’m sure he could have neighborhoods disappear from their system too.
