My wife is awesome when it comes to finding coupons/sales on stuff. She doesn't do it for grocery shopping, but for anything we buy online she can almost always find a coupon or some sort of special to get a decent % off.

I’ll ask the 19 y/o NYU aspiring actress that shops for me and get back to you.

Sadly, she is a good looking girl. The rest just screams crazy.

Well if it's free they're not technically spending money. I've been known to use numerous coupons on items like toilet paper, paper towels, laundry detergent, those type things that you WILL need and won't go bad.

I will say, I wish she still did it for the surplus of TP. Waaaaaay nicer to run out and know you have 28 more packs in the closet.
I'll take pulling the last two rolls out and saying "Alexa, order more toilet paper" and having a case show up in two days over closets full of the stuff any day.

Most of the scenarios in those shows cannot be replicated in real life. Those shows do away with store limits on quantities and their coupon policies for shock value. There have also been documented cases of straight of coupon fraud shown, like using coupons with values that have never existed.
I do use coupons and the rewards program at CVS for health and beauty items. Takes me a few minutes a week and get things we actually use for pennies on the dollar. It was great for getting Huggies and Pampers really cheap when the kids were babies. Don't bother with food and groceries since we are lucky to have Aldis and that blows everything out of the water, even couponing.
