I have in the past, but I am in a good spot now. Sympathy for anyone dealing with that crap.

Yes. That’s the only time shite really gets done. But ya gotta be willing to let him take credit for it in the end.

Many sayings for it. "they drank the koolaid" is very popular. I refer to it as "the hive mind". When they have their daily dick pulling meeting(aka as the foosball party) I like to refer to the meeting room as "the hive".

I do, mainly because mine is lazy and doesn't want to actually work. His most famous words are "That's not my job"

After reading some of the responses to the OP, I will say that my Boss should get together with your boss and go bowling.

My boss doesn’t go bowling, just goes to work and home, probably hasn’t had a vacation in 5 years.

You have no idea. I am convinced my boss is the most difficult person in the world to work with. I often times describe him to others as "the most ridiculous person I have ever met"

I was hoping someone would get the reference from The Breakfast Club where Bender and Andrew were talking about their Dads being assholes and Bender said maybe your dad and my dad ought to get together and go bowling

Overall, I really like my job. It’s rewarding and the pay is overall worth the work. That being said, speaking with my boss is like rolling a six sided die and that’s the emotion for the day. Might be mad, might be happy, might be giving kudos to someone for small accomplishments, might be ripping into someone for something that was never an issue in the past. Overall a good person, just never know what you’re going to get. Anyone else deal with this kind of situation?

try on having that person be your FIL as well and get back to me.

As many others have mentioned, it mostly leads to the rest of our team just hiding shite from him bc they are so terrified of triggering him. This strategy is effective until he inevitably gets word of what they are hiding and he goes off the rails worse than he would have if they were just upfront from the get go. It’s pretty entertaining to watch unfold, but I always end up as the mediator bc of our relationship.

I am highly entertained that neither side will change and just continue playing the same game with the same outcome over and over again.

Sounds like everyone's boss throughout history. Learn to read the room. Pick up on his cues, when he's in a bad mood, stay away as much as possible and walk on egg shells. It's not hard to get in a habit of doing this.

Former was my n a cocktail of mental drugs and it didn’t help much. His first attempt on a cc license was kicked back for medical. State Poleese wanted statement from his phys to his mental capacity. Never deterred, he sent in a subsequent application with his drug cocktail deleted.
Yep, SP issued a cc license on his second attempt.
I hate that cocksucker and would love to see him get busted for mail fraud.

That sounds more like borderline than bipolar. Bipolar moods don't usually swing that quickly. It's usually weeks, months or years of depression interspersed with occasional periods of mania.
