Wife just turned in her m37s, for a Audi A6. The infinit has been updated in about 4 years- or so it appears. The br local dealer wouldn't work with on the price or she would've purchased the car from the infiniti dealer.
So she shopped at Audi, jag, Cadillac and even benz. She didn't look at BMW.
I've tried to convince her about the lease situations- but it's her money and she put asides 19% of her salary.

I love our Q5 with the 2.0T. I have not had any major issues. Its a fun daily driver. My 5 year old has plenty of room in the back with a car seat. It will eat thru tires and brakes. I replaced the brakes myself one time so far. I don't mind doing maintenance like that myself. It had terrible brake dust problems. I put on performance ceramic pads and it fixed that.

All that being said, I don't think I would want a q7 with the 2.0T.

P.s- if you go Audi and ever need the tow hitch package get it with it at first. I did not. I would now like to add the hitch and it's expensive as hell to get Audi to add it.

Yep. I get my wife in a new car every three years; which should have some of the newest safety and tech features. I guess I'm a bad husband. It also give us the option to increase vehicle sizes as we consider making humans.

If I wasn't planning to use the $4,000 we set aside for student loans every month, I'd probably just buy one outright.

The new Q7 is amazing. It is the best "driving" SUV outside of the X5M or Porsche Cayenne. Car and Driver rated it the best dad SUV about 6 months ago

I'm sure but it's horrific looking. The old one was a great looking vehicle but new body style looks like a goofy tall wagon.

Test driving the MDX and QX60 tomorrow. I hate car dealerships.

I would go MDX. The QX is nice looking but has had some reliability issues.

I had an Audi Q5 that was hit by a food truck that ran a redlight. Totaled the Audi. We walked away from it.

I scratched them off the list due to size/cargo limitations. I have a friend with one and he said he seriously misses the cargo from his Tahoe. If we weren't planning to grow, I would probably go with it. It looks sharp. The QX60 has pretty high safety marks, so I'm comfortable with that part for sure.

I might run into the same problems with the MDX. frick, I don't know. I don't even have a kid yet. Not even one in the oven. I'm watching youtube videos on these models and installing car seats
