The "Keep Tiger Town Beautiful" volunteers complained to the city so much about constantly having to clean up after the bums living under that overpass that the cage was the city's solution.

Here in N.O. the squatters come and go from the area on Metairie Rd. where the Expressway crosses over that intersection.

Some days there's several tents set up under the expressway on the concrete slab and then, POOF, they're gone for a few weeks before they show up again.

I've seen several of them setting up camp around the cemeteries at the end of Canal where it meets City Park Ave.

there is an encampment in the patch of woods behind the Woman's Wellness Center on Bluebonnet just off Jefferson Hwy...

Sounds like a good investment, very far sighted. I'm sure now that these people have been disincentivised to be homeless they will have jobs and homes in no time, no way in hell the same problem will turn up elsewhere in town

It's the new sub station. Always put them where the crime is highest.
