Anybody remember the Ford Veterinarian Clinic?

Somewhere around N 19th in BR, I think.
Dr Ford was a nice fellow, and he kept his prices low. He helped a lot of people with basic care for their pets.

All I know is every time I take my pet to the vet they dig in my wallet just as far as they can.

Many vet practices have been taken over by corporate/private equity owners. In those situations, the vet really isn’t in charge and is under tremendous pressure to drive revenue.

I remember him and took my dog for shots every year. He was definitely a "no frills" kind of vet. But he really cared about animals.
