I've been hearing "dab" used to describe what we once called a fist bump. I'm either working around dumbasses (I am) or this is new slang for the modern equivalent of a handshake. So, a "dab loan" would seem to be the "handshake loan" of lore.

"Dap" is a form of handshake.

Is dab just a mis-spelling of dap? Why not say handshake loan?
