Anybody know the story of Phyllis Kelly?

Just read in the book “Why We Love Football” by Joe Posnanski that a young lady named Phyllis Kelly sang the National Anthem at the Super Bowl XII in New Orleans. It was played in January 1978 to cap off the 1977 NFL season. Cowboys beat the Broncos.
Some articles say Kelly was a student at SLU while others say she was a student at NLU (which is now ULM). Does anyone her or her whereabouts? Does anyone know why a student from a small college would sing the national anthem? And was it SLU or NLU?
Just curious.

Yep, they use to do “Neat $hit,” like that. Now, they don’t do the Neat, they just do the $hit. I’m talking more of the halftime B$.
