I've done it a couple of times when I worked at the bank. Pretty satisfying to hand that shitty customer a check containing all the money he has in the world and telling him that First NBC is next door if he's looking for another bank. Shouldn't have fricked with me.

about twice a year I'll go look at my clients and if something is stalling, nothing is moving and the client is a headache in general, I'll make the suggestion that they move on and that's what usually happens. Obviously this only applies to certain types of cases I carry and I can't do anything that would hurt the clients case.

I'm a mental health counselor and I've "fired" patients before. I have to refer them to someone else in the process (per ethical guidelines), so it's never just "get the hell out of my office." I wish I could talk to people like Dr. Phil does on occasion, but I would get in a ton of trouble.
