Traveling down backroad in East Feliciana Parish pulling 16 ft trailer with mower and stopped by deputy who claimed we were going 87 in a 55. No way you could control this vehicle at that speed. The deputy miscalculated the speed by 32 mph. Anyone have this happen to them?

One time about 4:30 am I was headed west over the new bridge. Was in an old arse truck doing about 62-63 down the slope. Cop pulls me over past 415 saying I was doing 78. I was like uuuuuuuh my Speedo said I was doing about 62. Walks to his car, minute later come back and sends me on my way

Was very weird. I don’t think that truck went over 75 in its life

He's got you dead to rights. Be prepared to break out that checkbook.

Got pulled over in Woodworth once. I was doing about 55 in a 65 and the LEO said he clocked me at 75. I laughed a little and told him that I couldn't even do the speed limit with the little V6 I was pulling a large CC boat with. He let me go, I was surprised, but a pretty nice guy. He explained that sometimes they will get a signal coming off a tire. He asked what I was fishing for and I told him he could pull me over on the way back through and I'd show him if I caught anything.

Why not? Shitty vehicle? I've pulled many trailers, toting all sorts of things, hitting 85-90.... primarily on the interstate...but I have hit 70s on back highways pulling a mower on a trailer... Don't speed of you're not willing to pay the cost. It may have been off some, but not by 32 I bet. You were probably only doing 20 over, congrats on your ticket.

Wrong. There is a lot of stuff that can go wrong with doppler, especially if you're not travelling directly at the radar or if there is radar interference.

This was back in the 80's. I was coming over the overpass next to the ballpark and he was in the parking lot of the gym. My grandmother(well known there) had a little talk him afterwards.

Got pulled over a few weeks ago - was going <45 mph in a 45 mph zone - was in right lane in heavy traffic - cop had to wedge in behind me and turned on his lights and blipped siren - I pulled over into first available spot - he said he clocked me at 62 mph - complete BS - I didn't directly challenge him but said I was pretty sure I was going 40-45 - he took my license back to his car and returned a few minutes later and told me how lucky I was that he was not ticketing me ($289 and 4 points). Jackasses like him give the majority of good cops a bad name.

This is your argument? So, how fast were you actually going? If you 55 that's a lie

No. The street next to the ballpark. I used to know the names but it's been years since I've been there.
