Just checked my mortgage statement and it seems like my monthly payments will be going up quite a bit even with a 2.25 rate with rise in property taxes and home insurance.
Dam property taxes went up another 1,000 this year and my home insurance went up another 1,000. I now have to pay an extra 3k if i want to keep my monthly payments at the same price . If not those go up 400 dollars a month.
This crap is getting ridiculous.

You ever stop and think about how much money you give the government every single day and what they do with it?

75 cents of every dollar the govt takes from you is wasted on stuff no American benefits from. 50 cents of that is basically wasted overall.

We are the most inefficient operating govt, and we can't even get decent paved roads to drive on from them.

Inflation is down, Jack. And Inflation is good for me, anyway. I'm doing my part to help the future of our democracy.
I know because I watch CNN.

Really more pissed at my city property taxes the most because they have gone up every year like 500 or more since have been in the house for last 10 years. I can always change home insurance but wish i could change city Governments. The fact they have built 2 or 3 nice subdivisions right down the road in the last few years with homes in the 400k or more makes it worse. They are now getting taxes from that group as well as my yearly increases. Where is the money going? Sorry my rant is over.

Home insurance is skyrocketing everywhere in Florida. It’s a huge problem that the legislature is about ten years too late in trying to solve.

We will always be slaves to the government.

Get away from being slaves to credit cards and appearances and things become much easier.

Don’t worry, you won’t own anything soon. You’ll be so happy that you’ll thank the government.

Legislation will not solve it. If you don't like the rates living in a coastal state and want legislation to dictate what companies can change, they just won't do business in that state.

Taxes and insurance are ridiculous. Between house and car insurance and property taxes..I mean I see why people don’t have any money. Couple that with the price of groceries, etc…it’s tough out here for the non OT ballers

Yeah, been feeling it since early 2020.

I need to do a better job of realizing I ain't got it bad compared to most folks. Just feels like I'm not saving nearly as much as I should and it makes me sick when I see the 15k federal tax witholding. I'd feel better about it if I thought it were used responsibly. Fukk the government. Dems and Republicans alike. Two heads to the same snake that don't give a shite about us. It's just taxes vs gay taxes.

$15,000 is too much no doubt but in perspective its $41.10 a day to live in the US and that number is directly linked to decisions we make...most of us could live on less income and have less tax burden. Its too much anyway you slice it but where can you live like we live in the US on $41.10 a day? Nobody ever liked paying any taxes but very few people have ever avoided doing so. In relative terms we have it pretty damn good.
