Prehistoric Park is conveniently located in Henderson, Louisiana (St. Martin Parish), just one-quarter mile north of I-10 near Cajun Palms RV Resort. This is Louisiana’s only attraction dedicated to these amazing creatures of years past.

With approximately 12 acres to explore, you will find yourself wandering amongst some of the most feared predators ever to walk the planet. Prehistoric Park offers a unique, natural setting featuring paved walkways where you will encounter a wide variety of realistic- looking steel and fiberglass dinosaur replicas, including some animated dinosaur exhibits. There will be a concession stand, gift shop and a sandbox with buried bones ready to be discovered by young paleontologists.

My two year old nephew is on a dinosaur kick right now, and went there for his birthday not too long ago with his folks. They said he enjoyed it. Then again, it doesn't take much to impress a two year old.

We went to this and it was a cool I guess but literally walked the whole thing in about 15 minutes. Pretty horrible overall. Good concept though but not worth the drive

I went about six months ago with my family. Pretty cool for young kids.

PS. Bayou Teche and Parish Breweries are very close if you want to round out the trip.

You obviously have never been to a brewery lately. Most are set up to be family friendly.

I took little Bandit there in the summer.

He loved it.

The raptor room at the very end scared the shite out of him though .

It was a good time.

Parish is basically a bar in front of a warehouse.
