You couldn’t afford a house in Rosemary if you worked 20 lifetimes.

This is the OT. If you are going to call everyone out with this condition you will never get any sleep.

“30A” in the sense we are talking about here is strictly a marketing term for middle class southern vacationers. It’s not really used outside of that.
Example: most people in peninsular FL don’t even know what 30A is, because they are not the ones being marketed to. Ask someone in ATL or Birmingham and I bet everyone of a certain demographic knows.

Everybody (well mostly) know what/where 30A is in the panhandle

30A is a long highway. I know the window stickers are probably about the part just east of Destin, but it actually goes almost to Apalachicola, after splitting back off from 98, south of Port St. Joe.

I’m just saying it’s not a “thing” in most of FL. Or for people otherwise not in the target demo.
If course people might know the highway 30A and the towns along it but honestly people in the gulf states are probably more familiar with Gulf FL than most Floridians for example. It’s just a world away for most.
My main point is you won’t probably hear it on the news because it’s more a marketing term to refer to that area. In most cases people will refer to the town itself.

My white trash family has been going to the 30A area since the 80s, we pretty much created the stereotype
