You should try ear candling. Not because it will do any good because it won't. But you can entertain family and friends with it and take your mind off the pain. And hopefully it won't fill your ear with burning hot wax.

Get someone to blow cigarette smoke in your ear. Instantly relieves the pain.

this, actually last time I had an earache I squeezed the juice from fresh garlic and dropped it down in there. Instant relief.

Look at when I posted the thread jackass, I wanted something to help me through the night before I have to drive to Baton Rouge in a few hours.
Poor baby.

You wanted something to get you through the night because your ear hurt?

Owning a pair of testicles normally does it. But if it's bad, go to the ER. If it's not, suck it up and make an appt with the ear doctor. Or if you want to gamble with the health of your fricking ear by using home remedies, then by all means pour garlic juice in there, light a fire and suck the toxins out, etc.

Don't stick fricking Q tips into your ears. It irritates your outer ear canal and pushes the wax further into you ear and can irritate your tympanic membrane.

People and doctors alway say that, but look at how much stuff comes out on a q tip.

Quit fricking around with over the counter meds.

Go to the doctor and get prescription ear drops. Will be better in one day.

You've got an inner ear infection and it won't go away without antibiotics.

Been there, done that.

Try the over the counter ear drops from Walgreens or CVS. Should at least provide some temporary relief, and if it doesn't start to clear up in a day or 2, go to doctor so you can get Rx for antibiotics
