No, it's a visual filter. It tells you this potential mate is someone you should stay away from, VD, crazy, etc. Have you ever had your gut tell you something? Millions of years of evolutionary pressure does that.

I sometimes get to photograph beautiful young women, and for me a tattoo is pretty much a deal killer, unless tiny and easily hidden like on the inside of a wrist. I don't want tattoos on my images or my women. I did know one who I used to scuba dive with who had a tattoo of Disney's Ariel (Little Mermaid) on the back of her neck where it was usually covered by her hair.
