Need to move about a rooms worth of items around 900 miles and considering a self pack travel pod as I will be flying back home.

Any good or poor experiences with the service?

shouldn't be a problem as long as they are insured. just gotta be sure they don't try to blame everything that breaks on your inadequate packing job.

I'd also be interested in hearing about experience with Pods or similar business. May need to do a small interstate move of some furniture soon.

Curious about these types of services also. Will most likely be making a long distance move within the next few years, and this seems like it could be an appealing option.

I used U-Pack a few years ago. Make sure you have ample space at both origin and destination for them to leave the trailer. We packed it really tight and didn't have anything break. Good luck.
