That really depends on the platform. iOS is really efficient with battery management. Android not so much, IMHO.

Example: on android, the Facebook app slurps on the battery like a prostitute sucking off a John. The iOS version in contrast seems to use vary little power.

Only when I have a waze to go or I'm going to the Airport to catch a flight.

I don't like surprises on those days.
