My fiancée and I are getting married in June, and the pastor is requiring premarital counseling. With our busy schedules, we were looking for an online alternative to the typical “in house” counseling option. Any of y’all have any experience with doing this, and if so, do y’all have any recommended sites? I’ve tried googling for websites, but some of the sites look sketchy at best. TIA

Oh, and no pics. Sorry, but that would greatly reduce the chance of her still marrying me, and I’m trying to lock this one down, as I am GREATLY outkicking my coverage.

If I had to do premarital counseling, I probably wouldn’t be married.

Nonsense. Premarital counseling was a great thing for us. Keeps us from having to go NOW.

Have you guys talked about finances?
Have you talked about kids?
Do y’all agree about those things?
If yes to all three, congrats, you’ve had premarital counseling. Have you pastor send a check to Upperdecker on TD

Many things you cannot prepare for ahead of time. Marriage is one of them. No matter how well you know the person, doesn't matter if you've shacked up, once yall say I do, everything changes.

A good premarital counseling program can give you some good tools to help with the adjustment if you take it seriously. Emphasis on a good program.

Personally I would recommend it as well to all to be married couples. I dont understand people who say if you're thinking about getting counseling you shouldn't be married. That's dumb. Even video games give tutorials before you play.

Where you at, baw? I'm ordained and am able to do weddings and pre-marital counseling if that's important to you.

Would your fiancée’s name happen to start with an h and rhyme with Bailey?

quote:

fiancé

one e in fiancé means a dude.

Don't do this, OP. He doesn't charge a dime but he requests one night alone with your fiance.

I don’t mind voluntary counseling.

Mandatory counseling comes off as “You’re going to sit here and grin while I tear your arse apart.”
